I have an 07GT with FRPP Hot Rod cams, FRPP Throttle body, Steeda UDP's, Kooks LT's and a C&L intake.

Just had the FRPP intake installed at Alternative Auto. The car was dynoed before the install and then again after. It gained 18 r.w.h.p. after the intake was installed.
I have not driven the car yet, no dyno sheets yet.

From what I understand it did lose some torque between 2,000 and 2,500 r.p.m. and then again from 3,000 to 3,500 r.p.m. but not as much as was expected.

Sorry for the preliminary information just thought folks might want to get some idea of the results.

I am also going to 4.10's from 3.73's.

thanks for the info! if u dont mind, what rpms did u spin her too? what rpm did the gain start and how much was the gain at the top rpm? thanks again.

I did not have delete plates before the intake. I figure it's a little more gain and not that much more money then the delete plates.

i'm not criticizing at all. and yours is a valid point if using the high end billet plates. for cheapsters like me and the econo deletes...different story

Sorry I don't have that info yet. I am picking up the car hopefully on Saturday and I will try to provide more info.

I agree ! It seems like I could have obtained the same or very close to the same results with delete plates. But I also like the looks of the FRPP intake and I know that's subjective. So for me it works.

Was it tuned or just threw a little fuel at it?
A full good tune/tuning you'll see more. :naughty1:

Your peak hp is how much higher in the rpm band?

Mine went up over 700rpms...

I don't think delete plates by themselves will get you more than 3 HP. If Bob got 18 to 20 then the intake yeilded close to 15 HP.

Just put mine on and it definitely smoothed out my idle and gave me an extra kick on the upper RPMs. I love it!

Other people that dynoed their car before and after delete plates with mail order tunes before and after gained 7 to 10 HP at the wheels. Where are you getting 3 HP from?

That about right just depends on your setup the everage i have seen is 3-4rwhp on an auto and 5-7rwhp on a maunal. I have heard claims of 10 but highly doubt it and havent seen proof to back it up. On my car with cai/tb and longtrubes the deletes made 5rwhp.
