FRPP Intake Manifold yet anyone??

realistically? Well considering a stock motor has cmcv's... 3-6whp is more likely. It's the heavily modified engines that will get 10-20. Edit: I THINK...lol

I'm pretty much thinking the same.. NA unless stroked and cam will see as much or a tad more then just the deletes alone. once people set putting this on their setup we should get a better idea. we just have to ..... wait ... a ...... little...more.....

Its a long process for shops to bolt a new manifold on haha

were the intake openings a match, or smaller? Unless you fabbed the intake, the tb openings are not matched to intake.

I didn't have to modify the intake at all. As long as you center the TB in the opening everything clears perfectly. At least on my stock '05 intake it does. I had a 1/2" spacer standing by because I had heard the there might be a clearance problem but had no need.

I have an 07GT with FRPP Hot Rod cams, FRPP Throttle body, Steeda UDP's, Kooks LT's and a C&L intake.

Just had the FRPP intake installed at Alternative Auto. The car was dynoed before the install and then again after. It gained 18 r.w.h.p. after the intake was installed.
I have not driven the car yet, no dyno sheets yet.

From what I understand it did lose some torque between 2,000 and 2,500 r.p.m. and then again from 3,000 to 3,500 r.p.m. but not as much as was expected.

Sorry for the preliminary information just thought folks might want to get some idea of the results.

I am also going to 4.10's from 3.73's.

the big question is did you already have delete plates installed before the manifold installation?

if yes, then hooray, if not, well....

Maybe I missed this, but can you use delete plates with the FRPP intake manifold?? With the C&L you can't.

I did not have delete plates before the intake. I figure it's a little more gain and not that much more money then the delete plates.

Well this is kinda nice to hear finally. With bigger cams maybe i can squeeze out a couple more ponies! Guessing you wouldnt know how much further ur power curve carried either huh? Or by chance what they spun it to pre FRPP intake and after?? lol Worth a shot to ask. Thanks for the info though!
