I have a PTC TC, PA deep pan, JDM catch can on the way and the only thing from TCI is the hardened input shaft.

Jim sends directions with the kit. 2010 has two vents. only thing i did was used some stainless screws in lieu of the ones sent in the kit.

The folks that re-built it the last time. Fuck that, I could just get a TCI Streetfighter for $3,100. Or a stock used transmission for $600 and retire the car.

The TCI autos are junk??? I have an 05 auto 46,000 no tune,gears, or power adders, the sylenoid went out and broke a band in second gear, almost a stock car, thats crap!!! cost of said junk $1650.00 ...What is better manual swap or some other auto???

I'm leaning HARD toward a Circle D trans/convertor!!!! Just waiting to see WHAT/IF TCI has anything to say...before calling attorney....giving them one more chance! It's been a POS since first installed.....and STILL a POS!!!

I have read about your struggles with the tranny and I feel your pain...

I sincerely hope the TCI will stand by their products, their performance and their reputation and fix or refund you money that you invested in their company...

Swap to a 4R70W, you won't be sorry.

Agreed, I ran the 5R55S as long as I could. I got tired of swapping out transmissions after 5-7 runs. I know folks with the TCI that are getting 4-5 runs before they break.
I've had the 4R70W for over a year and half and over 300+ runs without a single issue.

Damn i was hoping that they would do as they said and call me back. Even if the damn engineers didn't give the guy any info yet...he promised last Friday that he would DEF call me on Monday. A simple "we don't have it figured out yet" would have been polite!

FINALLY GOOD NEWS!!!! TCI called me today. They now say it's NOT the convertor? Which i didn't think it was.....Anyways. They are sending a NEW TRANS and paying the install labor!!! FINALLY...after three installs/trips to 700 mile away installer various times....BUT they don't want to swap convertor. Say it's NOT bad..but that is what they originally said it was. Anyway. I'm trying to get convertor also!!! They want me to go to a closer shop that they deal with... IF they can locate one.... to save me traveling $$$. But..i don't know where? They say i can go back to my installer/tuner no prob..which i'd rather do...since they are the only ones that have touched my car, except for a few small things. FINALLY GOOD NEWS!!! Too bad i spent $$$$ on three installs though and had to get pissed and leave non polite messages too.

FINALLY..i'm getting as new trans AND convertor. As soon as they build a convertor!!! Stepping up to a 3,500 stall Super Street Fighter convertor from my current 3,000 stall Street Fighter. They found a shop within 60-80 miles from me that they work with and want them to install it there. I've called the guy and it's a go.
