I need to remove alittle over 1/2 of a tank from the car so i can fill it with e85.
problem is i do not have a tune so driving for a bit is out of the question. what would u guys suggest or any thoughts?

i thought about hooking up my zex fuel rail adapter and just letting the car idle while it pumps out gas.

anyone

i have the exact same situation. already have the pump out to swap it so i was just planning to buy a cheap siphon pump and drain that side and then take the cover off the other side and do the same. Does this sound like an ok idea?

Disconnect fuel rail and run a hose to a can?

at 50 psi ? I would stand WAY WAY back while trying that.

Just get a siphon kit or drop the tank. At half a tank you have about an extra 40 lbs of gas to manage. It's doable.

Walmart sells a small hand pump in the same area they sell their heaters. their used for pumping kerosene from a fuel can to a heater and should work for you.

If you are trying to drain it at the filter you can turn the key on, unplug one FPDM and jumper pin 5 and pin 4 to run the pump full time. It should be the white wire and the pink wire with the black tracer.

i ain't no smart person when it comes to elect stuff.
could someone tell me how to do this in a trailer trash version ( draw pic lol )
