After a year and a half - MM&FF called me yesterday to say they are running the feature on my whipple car. Be on the lookout for it. Should be out within the next couple issues.

Awesome! I am still waiting to see my car in Modified Mustangs. We did the shoot in July 08 lol I got a call in Jan and was told I would be in the April issue, but the damn 2010 bumped me from that and now i sit....Funny how old the storys really are huh

Most of the time you don't get paid (atleast what i've seen) and they did the photo shoot a long time ago and are just now running it. He dosent even run that old setup anymore lol

Congrats on finally getting some ink!

There are SO many cars that could/should be in the magazines, and shooting the photos is the easy part! Finding the pages to put it on is the hard part. All of the print magazines have taken a huge hit in page count in the past 12 months, as advertisers have pulled back on their schedules. I shot a car last year at Mustang Week, and it'll finally get in the magazine I shot it for within the next 2 issues.

While the car owner doesn't get paid (in most cases) at all, the photographer and writer don't get paid until it gets printed. That's why I make my living in advertising and just shoot cars when I see something and can discuss it with an editor...

I had beer, chickens, dead cat, hay on engine parts, cherry pickin tractor, pizza eating dog, possom piss, burnng worms with 1+ year old gas, ar 14, and so on. How many "real" stoires are reported?

Nah - they are going to do another story on the car when it's in Texas for the NMRA in November. They want to do a feature on the car when it runs in the real street class. If I sell the car - the more articles the better...

Yes I believe it was in Modified Muscle machines or modified mustangs or something to that effect, I have the mag somewhere.
