Thinking about ordering a set for my 06 GT and cant decide if the 7000ext will be to long.
So, thought I might ask if anyone has a set and what model did you go with?
Pros and Cons and would you order a different model?
Did you buy the ZL1addon adaptors or are you just using supplied rubber blocks?

Pictures of your set up down low on pinch welds a huge plus to me.
Thanks guys and much appreciated :)

Either of the 5000 series units will work fine with the Mustang pinch welds. I use a 5000EXT with the standard rubber blocks and wouldn't bother with the pinch weld blocks since they won't work with most side skirts unless you trim them down to fit in the openings. Depending on how low your Stang is sitting, it might not clear the 7000 series units and the lift height difference between the 5000 and 7000 is only 3/4 inch.

I have about 4" underneath near the front pinch weld area. Its sitting low on Coilovers.
Really hoping/thinking about the 7000 series since it can lift my F-150 as well.
Alright. Thanks for chiming in.
I guess your only guy on this forum with QJ :)

You'd just have to drive onto small squares of 1/2" or 3/4" plywood and you'd have clearance on the 7000 series lifts. The 7000 series shows a collapsed height of 4" with the small rubber block in place.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking on the wood.
Darn shame Costco doesn't sell the 7000 series (only the 5000slx). They have the best pricing.
Since your using the supplied rubber blocks are your pinch welds un-damaged from them?
Thanks again. :)

I have the 5000EXT and I bought some magnetic pinch weld adapter plates on Amazon.

Thanks for replying and sorry for delayed response.
Decided not to get the 7000 series as I can get under my truck just as she sits.
I finally ordered my BL5000EXT (yesterday) as they just now have a sale going on.
I picked mine up for $1195. Shipped
So, for any of you guys wanting one the sale ends the 28th of this month. :)
