I run an Airaid Synthamax filter on a 6"X4" aluminum spectre tube. Cost me $50 shipped for both parts from JEGS.

JLT and Vortech is better since they come with a shield that keeps the engine hot air out of the intake.
You do need to trim the JLT one a bit otherwise it will hit the relocated lower radiator hose, at least it did on mine.
This has been logged and shows zero IAT changes without a shield. The shield is for looks if anything. The FMIC does wonders regardless of what the filter is sucking in. Just touch the U pipe going into the TB after a drive.
