So I've about finished the Paxton install. What a pain in the dick. The instructions aren't that great at some points and half of the stuff you put on are in the way to put others parts on that would have been easier to do at an earlier point. At least the hard parts are done. Tomorrow I'll wire in the BAP and gauges, hook up my exhaust, load the tune and refill the coolant. I pray that there are no issues with this thing. And I dread ever having to change the belt unless there is something that I don't know that makes it easier.

all you need to do to change the belt is drop out the bottom left pulley, and you can feed it right up through the bottom

takes us about 10-15 minutes with a lift, 15-20 at the track with a jack

I feel your pain, I took the fan out this weekend to remove the bypass valve and put on a Tial 50mm Q blow off valve. Everything is a real tight fit but after taking it apart a couple of times it's not that bad. The fan is the only thing that pisses me off with this setup.

How do you guys like the tial 50 over the stocker ?

I like it, the bypass valve that comes with the kit is very quiet in my opinion. Now you can tell there is something going on under the hood even at part throttle. It's a bigger unit so it's a tight fit but it will bolt right up with a Greddy to Tial flange adapter.

So I'm stuck again. The vortech bap wiring. I read gizmos post but I can't figure out where the hell the pump side of the purple/green wire is. There is one going into the connector in the trunk but that's it. 2 small wires run through the trunk but neither are the colors I'm looking for. So I need to know where to book up the orange wire from the bap. Any ideas

Is it the boost referenced BAP or the universal one? If its the boost referenced one you connect the orange wire to the connector side of the purple/green wire.

Thanks. Gizmo just called and explained it to me. Makes a lot more sense now.
