Are you done tuning it or do you think there's more left in it?

Once mine back together and the tune is close my buddy has a mustang dyno in his pole barn..

I'm going to tell ken b. to put the stank on it..

We're pretty much done. We wrapped up with track logs. He is sending me one more revision because he had to remove timing from the launch cause I wasn't hooking. He's adding it back.. Awesome man he will take care of ya. He's top notch.

Were you able to make changes right at the track with him? That might be the ticket with my car

It feels better knowing what was wrong..

Im going to take my time re-installing make sure everything is 100%

The clamps on the bottom radiator hose that needed modified.. I replaced the worm gears with those bastard squeezing things because I think they have more clamping force

After its all put back together I hope the maf didn't get bumped and have to start from square one with the datalogging

I think you'll be fine. We take my tubes on and off all the time, just make sure it's pretty close to where you had it before and you should be fine.

The nice thing is, now you know your car, you know how everything went together, and you will have a sense of satisfaction of doing the work yourself.

Rad leak?? Maybe just some residual leakage from rad hoses??
Just installed rad and was gentle with it. Was under car checking it out and saw some antifreeze on lower part of rad. Wiped it off and it might be a minor leak or maybe some residual leakage when hoses removed.
Think I have to finish the install first as I can't really check it out without starting the car????
Any suggestions?

Why did you pull the radiator?

Double check all hoses. Rinse with hose, and double check again.

So I have questions... I am considering putting a Paxton on my car; however, the car is absolutely my daily driver and it must stay that way. Right now, the motor/driveline is 100% stock. I want the car to be as quiet as possible - I don't even want to add an off-road X-pipe or mufflers. Stock exhaust will be retained. So here's my questions:

- Can I reach 600 rwhp with nothing more than a Paxton with the standard pulley and a Boss intake?
- Is it reasonable to believe the car can live at 600 rwhp for a long, long time? I don't really want to buy another motor. Also, I live in Phoenix so 91 octane is the best I can get.
- How long will the stock clutch last at that power level? And the rear axle? What (if any) supporting mods (besides injectors/BAP/tune) will be needed to make the car live happily at that power level? I just drive the car, and beat on it a little on the road sometimes. It's been to the track, but it's certainly not a track car.

I've read through this entire thread already, but most folks mod the cars more than just the blower.

Sorry, meant I was gentle with rad shroud reinstall. So, I'll complete the install; then check for rad leak.
