I think this install can easily be done in 6 hours or so with 2-3 people. Just divide up the task. 1 work on BAP, 1 work on injectors, 1 disassemble front and every thing. First one done start modding hoses. Second one done start modding fan. Third one done mod the PCV system.

If I could go back I would do it something like that. I was crazy meticulous on following the instructions and bitched if either of my helpers tried to venture ahead. Finally I got smart and grabbed another ipad and allowed them to do so.

The hoses and fan shroud are already modified. I bought the kit used from a HPP customer.

I have the canton tank too. JLT intake. I'd1000s, and KB BAP.

I don't want to rush it and fuck anything up but I think it's do able in 5 or so hours. I have the full instruction book already printed out. I'll go back and make sure all the brackets pieces are there. I think I was missing one of the cylinder looking things. Need to get Paxton to over night me that and we should be good.

Y'all think I'll be ok driving back to Austin on the start up tune as long as I stay out of boost?

I think AED requires an initial dyno session now and will not send a start up tune. That's just what I heard though so don't quote me on it. I'm new here so couldn't really name some local tuners. I've heard Chris' Car Doc is good but he just uses Lund for the Coyotes.

I'd email Lund and just see if they'd be willing to give you a few revisions that weekend so it'll be safe to drive back.

I can be home whenever friday. If we get started early enough it can be finished friday. I think 5 hrs.

A start up tune is fine to drive. Just NO boost. And there usnt anyone local for tuning coyotes worth a shit.

We will do that sometimes depending on what's going on in the shop.

One person can be modifying the fan / shroud, things like that, wiring in the bap, etc...

We like to have at least one set of logs before we put it out on the street. Even then, no boost,

We do so many of these with Lund that the tunes are pretty close out of the gate.

Just got back from harbor freight. Bought a socket set, breaker bar and wrench set. Thinking about saving y'all the hassle and doing it here. My tuner is in Austin (20-30 miles away.)

Might be a better option than 200+ miles. Expect me to ask a shit ton of questions when I start installing. My first time doing something like this.

If the initial tune is close, why can't one drive on it without getting into boost or sending in a log?

you probably could, but it's not recommeneded

especially if you accidentally hit it once, and the fuel trims are way off, you could lose an engine

Pm me and I'll throw you my number. I would recommend a set of ratchet wrenches too if you got the extra cash. Also make sure you have something to trim the fan shroud.
