so im wanting to get some adj shocks for autox and track days i was looking at the koni sport's but as of now i have the roush back springs to level out my car and the stock front springs. my question is how would this work with different shock i know many of you have lowering springs that run thies with different spring rates but i would like to not have to drop my car to much more here in Corpus Christi we don't exactly have the best roads and there are lots of dips and big humps to get over any ideas on how all this would would and what all i could do

I just don't know! I don't know how many people are running them with that kind of spring package, so the jury would be out... From experience, though, the adjustables SHOULD be able to get a handle on those types of spring rates with no problem.

i don't know of any springs that have better rates and don't lower the car a bunch. but i want to figure it out before i decide to get them

All I know is that the streets in Corpus do suck. I visit pretty often and I just can't believe how bad it is.

The stock springs aren't that bad. With a good set of shocks, I think you will be happy. As far as roush rears and stock fronts, who the hell knows what's going to happen. I doubt it's going to make the car handle terribly, but I can't say it would be better than just running all stockers. Find out and see how much of a difference there is in feel between all stock springs and the rear roushes once you put the shocks in.

I've got the same thing going on and I've grown to like the stance of the car with stock front springs and Steeda Ultralite rear springs.

I thought using the Vogtland GT500 springs in a GT supposed to be not overly-lowering in front? Anyone care to confirm?

I'm running the Vogtland springs with my Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks/Struts - feel great and you can easily adjust them for the street or track. They're not the cheapest setup, but they sure work great for me. Best thing to do is baseline what you currently have the evaluate the shock and spring characteristics at your favorite track - I would go with a good quality adjustable shock so you can tune it to your specific needs, then move to the springs (if required).

autox is what im wanting to be doing because im hoping to build a monster miata as a track car i dont like taking my DD out to track days i need it to last a while

Get the H@r sports springs 3/4 of a drop all the way around with Koni yellows and be done with it .

First post, here anyway... but here is something to consider: A set of Steeda Competition springs. I just installed a set, and they lowered the tail a good bit more than the nose. In fact the front really didn't drop much at all, which isn't what I needed on the car, so they came off. And I have them for sale for $299 shipped which is about $50 less than you'd normally find them for (they have less than 100 miles on them). Came off to test a set of H&R race springs because I need the car lower and stiffer than the Steeda's provided for use as a autox car.

Might suit you needs being that you don't seem to want to lower the front, but do want to lower the rear, and get stiffer rates too.
