If you "slam" your suspension where the tires are nearly tucked up under the fenders, you won't be able to do any track days (road course) events because of a lack of suspension travel and available wheel well space (especially once you try to set some negative camber) while turning the car hard - just an FYI in case that is an activity you may want to participate in the future. You'll end up rubbing the tires on the fenders and lack sufficient suspension travel that could lead to loss of control.

that's the beauty of an adjustable suspension, you can just raise the car up if you need to

That's true if you don't mind paying for a wheel alignment (and corner balance, if you road race) to correct your camber, caster and toe each time you lower and raise the suspension a few inches.... vs. adjusting rebound and dampening.

I really don't see myself going to a track day anytime soon. I've owned the car since October of 06 and the only track the car has seen is the drag strip. Even then the car has ran down the 1320 less than a dozen times. If there were a track close to me it would be more feasible.

Okay..well here is how the rear looks. The springs that came with the kit are 10" eibach coil overs. I'll be purchasing 8" springs after a while, just want to see at what height these settle at. I'm thinking on the fronts I'm going to have to cut the bump stops. The current vogtland springs don't offer much clearance and that area and these are only going to be lower. For now my front end is sitting higher than the rear, I'll end up doing the fronts Tuesday.

camber and toe, yes, caster no. correct me if i'm wrong, but our caster doesn't change when you raise and lower the car. Where I am a front end alignment will run me $30 and I'm not at the level to where I need corner balance and when I start tracking i'll probably put my car at a reasonable height and leave it there so I'm not saying I disagree with you, I'm just saying not everyone is as into road racing as you are, and the people who are, are not slammed and leave their cars where they need em. It's all preference.

If you don't need the perches take them out and see how much more that drops your rear end. And yes you will need to cut the bump stops. I cut both ridges off of mine.

Many of us that road race run camber/caster plates so we can make a full range of alignment adjustments. You're right, for stock setups - only camber and toe. I wanted to make sure the OP understood the potential impact of "slamming" the car should he later decide to do HPDE or auto-x where he would need to raise his suspension. :thumb:

Great job OP. Quick question, will the 18x10 FR500's clear Brembo's or any other BBK for that matter?

The OEM FR500 18x10" wheels clear Brembo's and most other BBKs because the FR500 (and GT500) is equipped with 4-piston Brembos on 14" rotors on the front. No spacers required. If you're buying repro FR500 wheels - just ensure they have the same offset.
