Any one who can comment on the frpp K springs vs the steeda ultra lights? I'm going to get the Koni sports but I'm not sure about the springs yet. Suggestions for any others welcome.

I will use the car as a DD 90% of the time but also want to do a little auto x and drag racing. I want as much of a drop as I can get with out a crappy ride. This is why I was leaning to the ultra lights as they are a bit softer than the sports, how ever if I can just dial down the koni's maybe I could go with different spring.

I have not made up my mind on tires yet. I will either run a 295/35/19 on all four or a 295/30/19 which is 1" shorter in profile than stock (more wheel to fender gap). Looking to find the best compromise between looks, ride and performance. Sort of looking to make a jack of all trades.

I ran K springs with Koni STR.T's, was an amazing combo. Was great on the road course and drag. I was able to cut 1.4X 60's with em.

For what it's worth Sam talked me into Steeda Sports rather than Ultra-lites due to the impact it would have on ride quality. It's not that big of a difference in drop if you really consider it. Looking at the car from 1 foot, you might notice, from 20 feet, highly improbable. If ride quality is important than you might want to look into the Steeda Sports.

I'm afraid it is. You need to be someone who was a teenager in the 60s when all of the guys racing sports cars either had or wanted Koni's.
I can appreciate nostalgia, and definitely appreciate build quality. In the end that is what made me change my mind.

Could you PM me a estimate for a set of koni sports (adjustable) and eibach sportline springs for a 2006 GT shipped to 46278? I could not get the website to come up. (workcomputer) Thanks, Jeremy.

I wonder why the two threads of the same topic have not been merged?

Nicu7. I don't recommend Sportlines. But you'd be looking at around $890 shipped for that setup. It'd be a bit more for better springs like various Steeda's that'd recommend instead, but they also have free shipping so the total wouldn't be that much different.

I'm confused. Koni Sports or Steeda Sports? Doesn't matter, I carry both.

Great prices! I'm planning on buying some sports when I can get some extra mod money saved up.

I'm swamped. I get hundreds of e-mails a day. Right now I'm doing all I can to keep up with incoming orders, as such I just can't be answering every e-mail I get. Hell, the reason the voicemail is full is I have had no time to clear it out or return those calls.

I'd suggest placing an order, I have to call you back then for the payment information... but even that can take a few days at the rate I'm going.

Sam, all my parts came in.......steeda sports, koni sports, MM plates, thank you!

I will do the install myself and I was wondering if there is anything I need to address other than a straight swap? Bump stops.....or things that may be effected by the geometry changes (Not sure if the small drop is enough to worry about steering). I already have a pan hard bar and lower control arm relocation brackets. I just want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything.

I also wanted to ask your opinion on the factory sway bars. Would I see much benefit in any changes with them?

Thanks for any additional input you might have.
