Also sense I have had a few days off the last couple weeks, I decided to repaint and add new carpet to the garage. Sure makes it nice having a clean work space again.

I thought y'all would enjoy.

Very nice to work in a clean garage/shop. So what's the remedy for your rear brackets? Do you need to make new ones?

Talk about a shitty day, today's high was 22* and 4"of snow. So only track stuff going on today is snowmobile or 4 wd.

I put the stock brakes back on the rear today. Sucks though as I spent a ton of time getting the dual caliper setup fitted and mounted and I lost the 3/4" of tire tuck along with it. I will start designing a new bracket when I get time. While I was there I went ahead and changed the gear oil.

Dual caliper.

With the stock brakes and the 3/4" spacers added back to the wheels.

All that is left now is to change the oil and detail it tomorrow and wait for dry roads to test it out.

That sucks but better to find that now then at 160.

I don't want to deal with the PA weather anymore either. I did think about retiring to San Antonio a while back..

That is the way I am looking at it. If that axle and bearing moved in at speed, that would be bad.

It is so hot in SA though. I work there all the time. The north east Texas area is a lot nicer place to live. IMO

Well, the car is DONE. I have been through everything 5 times and even cleaned the car up today. All that is left is to test the stock rear brakes. That should be smooth though since they are stock rears. Only doubt is the big bore MC with the stock rears. Strange says the smaller bore MC is a better fit for my current setup. Either way as long as the car stops tomorrow night on dry roads and the weather holds Saturday, I will be at Pine Valley Raceway in Lufkin on Saturday to test and tune! Good times coming, finally!

Right on, hopefully the brakes react alright and it's track time.

I hope so!

Billy dont talk shit about us SA folks lol. We have our nice areas too. Just no tracks :(

Nothing wrong with SA people, just the heat is not the best place for a northerner to move to. They will love that first winter but, when the sun comes out in July and at 10:00am there face is melting off, they may want north east Texas. That's all I was saying. Lol
