Well done sir! What did you have to do to get your filter/heatshield to work? I see a oddly shaped pipe in there? I have a C&L Racer intake at the moment and am seriously looking into the On-3 kit. This would help save a couple of bucks and a few days shipping. Also, how hard was it to get the turbo blanket to clear the pullies?
Also, do you have your MAF sensor in the tube coming up from the intercooler before the bend to the TB?
Thanks,
Jake

Thanks,

The hole through the heat sheild was too high so i cut a second hole lower that lined up with the turbo inlet then i took the circle i cut out and put it up top where the original hole was then wrapped it in heat tape.

My turbo inlet is 3" and the filter inlet is 4" so i used a 6 inch long piece of 3" to 4" ss pipe. It primer gray right now as i plan to paint it black with some high temp ceramic paint eventually. (the on3 brand turbo (which i didnt get, and was only a-$200) delete off the price ok the kit) is a 70mm brand x with a 4 inch inlet.) and the kit comes with a 4" bend pipe and 4 " silicone coupler to hook up a 4 inch filter which i didnt use.

I installed the blanket and than used the stainless steel zip ties from the heat wrap to pull it tight around the turbo to clear the pullies.
I also uses washers as spacers on the engine side of the turbo support bracket mount, to push the turbo a little bit farher away from the pullies as well.

And yes the vmp maf tube is just before the bend going to the tb.

Great job on the build cant wait to see some numbers. I am hopefully ordering this kit in a couple of weeks after I sell my long tubes and X-Pipe.

Thanks, glad its finally done! LIke is aid before the quality of the piping is great for the price. I did have a few small issues that i was able to work through and one fitment issue, so far i would say im 90% staisifed with it. I cant speak for the quality of the components because i used my own quality stuff, but i will say thay removing the turbo, wastgate and bov from the on3 kit only knocked off $400...

Looks awesome lightblade let's see how the pipes hang!!!! Congrats

Yeah, not quite yet lol. The driver side under a-arm pipe is nice and tight but the passenger side is sitting a little lower. Not worried about it though as its right behind the wheels so they should be no issue.(my bmr relocation brackets sit lower at the rear wheels than these pipes do up front.) Where the piping hooks to the mid pipes is sitting low right like 2 " off the ground as i need to adjust it which was tuff to do by myself before beacuse i had to hold it up and tigten the vband and slip connection at the mid pipe at the same time lol. So once i adjust it with gregs help and get it where it should be i will take some pics of the ground clearance. I am lowered on frpp k springs btw.

Very cool. I plan on ordering the standard kit and upgrading parts as I go and as budget allows. Been folowing a few on 3 builds closley but it looks like I'm going to be ordering the kit. The only person, that I give any credit to personally, that has said anything negative about the kit is Bob Kurgan. But I think I may have to break his heart and try this kit out.

Note: the wastgate connecting pipe isn't attached and is bent lower than it would normaly fit right now.

Haha! Ok so the cars running and out of the garage on the email tune drove it for about 20 minutes today. Its nice and rich till i can get to the dyno. It started making boost around 2800 rpms depending on gear once i saw 2lbs i let off, and bov works lol.
It was so hard not to get on it but gota be safe till i get it to the dyno.

Dyno tune to come! Will let yall know when its going on the rollers.

On a side note Greg's voretch is 98% percent done! just got a few things to wire, put fluids in and get the intercooler pump primed, then check everything over.
