Loud clunking sound over bumps after replacing struts and springs

The sway bar links have to be tightened using two wrenches. You have to hold the center bolt head with a 8mm wrench to keep it from turning, while tightening the larger 18mm nut. Not doing this will leave the end links loose.

thanks for this thread. Have the same issue will look into the strut nut (duh) to see if this resolves my clunking noise..

Note I have Steeda Sway Bars and End links, and that's not the cause of my clunking. Also replaced the lower a-arms with GT500 units... no dice.

I'll check my nuts, too!
(..strut mounts, that is; one side seems to clunk a little over bumps, either end links or strut mount..)

speaking of nuts... what size is that strut nut again? I need to make sure I have the proper socket for my nut.
