The 3M wrap products have started to arrive so I started to remove all of the decals off of the car. I haven't seen it in plain white in while.

I finished building the 1/4" aluminum fixed seat brackets and installed the seat. I still have to build and install a rear seat support. While I was at it, I painted the inside of the doors too.

However, after spending the time to trim and paint the doors, Seibon offered me a pair of their dry carbon fiber doors. How could I say no.

My wing flex issues have been resolved. The stainless turnbuckles were designed for sale boat rigging. I build the brackets by tig welded them together and then reinforced them on the backside of the trunk.

I was going to ask you about that the other day after I saw how Vorshlag had their wing and than saw yours and didn't notice the support on the back of the trunk. Looks good and much sturdier!

I was hoping that this would be enough support and it is. With two people pulling down on the wing as hard as they can, the AOA doesn't change at all.

If I ever win the lottery or stumble on a big load of cash I'm driving up to you and letting you build my car... This thing is a work of art

Today, I mounted a set of the new Toyo RS1 slicks on the Enkei PF01 wheels. Before I put them on the car, I need to remove the brakes and install the 3" long wheel studs.

Trying to convince myself to get busy and do it.

The front studs aren't so bad, but pulling the axles for the rear studs is a PIA. Assuming you're gonna do it by the book and not with and old lug nut and an impact. lol

I found the energy and did the rears. My diff cover was leaking anyway so it was a good time to inspect everything, fix the leak, and press in the studs. The fronts will have to wait until Monday.

That extra strut won't stop the trunk lid from collapsing the rubber seal. That's what happened to the Vorshlag trunk. We ended up making UHMW bumpers under the trunk to keep the rubber seal from collapsing and the wing angle from changing.

But, IIRC, that car already has a stop to keep the trunk from collapsing.

I already made solid stops and removed the rubber ones.
