I already made solid stops and removed the rubber ones.

Something like this?

Tonight, I finished installing the 3" wheel studs on the front and the back. The new 18x10.5 Enkei PF01 wheels and Toyo slicks fit perfect. The car is official de-stickered and ready for the 3M wrap.

They were supposed to start today but didn't show up. Hopefully they will show up in the morning.

Any shots of the rear? I'm really curious about that APR diffuser.

Have you went to the local hang out with it yet? I'd imagine you would draw a crowd everywhere you stopped.

Is there any new developments with the wrap?

Even though the wrap company is pre-cutting and printing the sponsor logos, I had to put the wrap off until next week. Seibon is going to send me a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber doors, and a carbon fiber trunk lid. I would like to get those parts installed before the wrap. I have a feeling that I will be cutting this close to the deadline.

Wow, more free parts. Have you totaled up the weight savings?

Okay, gotta ask... noob question I am sure! What are the two posts going from the bumper to the trunk lid? The don't look sturdy enough to be support for the wing and there wouldn't be any support under them below the bumper skin (unless you put some there?)... are they just to hold the trunk closed?

Does this ass make my wing look big.

Those hold the trunk lid shut because I don't have a latch.

So why don't you have a trunk latch? Removed it for weight but added two other brackets to take its place? Just trying to understand the thought process.

Because I didn't want to have to use a key to open the trunk. I don't have door locks or an ignition key. Keeping the trunk lock would have been a pain in the ass. plus, the two stainless latches weigh much less than the trunk lock mechanism. Every pound counts.

Ford did the same thing with the Boos 302R.
