If aluminum melts at 1200+ degrees, then this stuff would melt at about 700 degrees. I can't see an intake getting that hot unless the vehicle was on fire.

Yeah I agree for the intake port--but I wasn't talking about that, I was saying the combustion chamber- which will EASILY get that hot--and a clip in the video showed them repairing a combustion chamber.

Where do you find the energy?!?!

1000+ rwhp in the spring with a single power adder car...![]()

I don't think you will have a problem doing it. Not with your skills, talent and dedication. All you have to do is find a dyno where you won't smoke the tires off! Or put 50 clowns in the trunk.
I can appreciate all the work and effort it takes/has taken you. I'm looking for 1000hp this summer too and I know what it takes to make that happen and what I still need to get done. People throw 1000hp around on the net/in magazines like it's the new 500. Um, no. It's a big deal, especially with a 3v that can be driven on the street. And even when/if I do it my car will never be as pretty as yours.

I bought a syringe from the Walmart cooking section and it was on the money compared to all the info online.. Plus it was like 4 bucks!

That's almost 2 Gal. of E85...Nothing for fast cars costs 4 bucks!![]()

I know what you mean about how people throw that number around, I hear it sometimes and think to myself, "If they only knew"!
Oh yea, 3V FTW!![]()
Billy, is the additional .020 being taken off the heads going to effect the mating surface of the intake to head ?
