I'm working on it! I hate troubleshooting small issues! I think Jeremy@s&h has come through for me once again! I don't think my high speed fan was kicking on!

What was the issue matt, i think we have identical setups on that. How did you figure out it was kicking on high?

i am going to do the test this morning. I think I let the car warm up to where the fan kicks on... then turn on the a/c. then if the high speed fan doesn't kick on I believe that means the blower motor resistor is bad.

The a/c will only start the low speed, to test the high speed you should power the relay by hand or have a test tune for it.


the thing is that once it starts the LS it won't reach the activating temp for the HS.

Max ac will. This is how I tested my different fans on a many ocasions. Let the car warm up till the low speed fan comes on. Then turn on max ac and hit the recirculation button. With in 30 secs to a min the fan will kick on high and stay on high till you turn max ac off.

No you can change temps for speeds though.
