Damn man that sucks. I noticed your video made it all the way to a local forum in orlando already though lol
Check the downpipe for oil, if the hotside seal blew you will have black oil all in the downpipe, also sounds like it could be a ringland which would also overpressurize the crankcase.
There is no way its a ring land...

How would anyone know that? It amazes me how many people on the local forums can diagnose a failure without ever looking at the engine. On 101 octane, I doubt he lifted a head with 16lbs of boost and 15.5 degrees of timing. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, The tune needs to be very conservative due to the overly advanced cams. The cylinder pressure in this engine is very high because of this. I lowered the gain on the boost controller and suggest that it remain there until the camshaft issue could be addressed. 101 octane helps control detonation but it will not overcome 4032 alloy piston material. I'm not saying a piston failed but that's a shit ton of oil smoke. A lifted gasket would introduce coolant into the cylinder but probably not oil.
In the video, it did not appear your car nosed over. If it ate a piston, the car would have slowed very quickly due to the boost entering the pan. It almost looks like the smoke came from under the car.
I have a few questions;
Matt, did you crank up the gain on the boost controller or did you leave it
alone?
Was the smoke oil or coolant?
How bad did you overheat it yesterday?
Was it running hot during the race?
As you know, your cooling system sucks.
Call me later today so I can get more detail.
Could you elaborate on this marc, I have the same cooling system.....
What does your cooling system consist of? And Marc his car has been overheating in traffic I can only imagine what was going on while racing...Could you elaborate on this marc, I have the same cooling system.....

It is basically stock radiator with a slim fan with dual 12" fans and a small expansion tank mounted directly to the schroud. I sent pics to matt so he could duplicate my setup.
