@stroker yep. Comp had the knarliest cams I could find without going custom grind. I'm really curious on how the drivability is going to be.

I have the same cams, getting the driveability right took time but it runs great now. I love the sound when I start it in the garage, I wish I could record and post it.

Hey strongJ so just as suspected build is taking a little longer b/c of unexpected delays on a previous project my shop is working on. So now the date is pushed back a little; u have no idea how this feels do you??? Hahaha!!!

Just curious how much vacuum you have at idle with those cams?

10 inches, needed to change to the low vacuum KB bypass valve to get the car running right.

I really can't say, the long block and cams went in at the same time. The low end is good enough to fry the tires on the street with 295/55/15 DRs and pull the fronts 12" at the track.

I assume some type of axillary vacuum source (canister, pump or both) is in order.

Nope, the brakes work fine so I have not added a vacuum can. The biggest issue I had was the bypass valve was not working at low rpms and that was causing my IAT to get too high. I only put 1,000 miles on the car before I shut it down for winter. I look forward to see how it runs with the low vacuum bypass and the other minor changes.
