There are only 3 or 4 of use on here with a 5.4 3V but I might have to pick this up. Heard some not so great things about the MMR piece and I settled with the JPC because a stock tune can run it.

But this looks as though it would have much lower hood clearance... was it hard to get the tune dialed in with it?

No the driveability of the intake was fine for me and my tuner never mentioned it being a problem, I ran it on my first 5.4 setup that had 3v heads, no hood clearance issues either, it was good up to 943 rwhp at 29 pounds it could have gone more but needed more turbo, the first guy I bought it from had it on a NA application and still was driving it daily with no issues,it's a nice piece but I ended up getting a gt500 so my 3v stuff I's no use anymore, if you have any more questions let me know, thanks

How are the rails attached? I already have FORE rails, would I have to run the attached ones?

Do you have any pics of it on the car? I have an 07, Don't know how the coolant setup would work...

The ones that are with the intake are specific and have there own mounts that attach to the intake directly, they are very nice design, the coolant setup I's from a 05-06 but I have all the hoses that I am including for a drop I'n installation, the 07 coolant crossover pipe would be removed and this setup would go I'n place, I can draw a diagram for the install if needed but it's straight forward and can only go one way,let me know if you have any other questions, thanks

Yea... what did you end up doing, a 4V head swap?

Lets continue this talk via PMs, however, I am very interested in this.

That is one sexy intake! If it was a 4.6 3v I'd be all over it. Good luck with sale and free bump!
