Is is ok if I take the connector that plugs into the MAF sensor and cut and extend the wires? The wire is too short and will not make it into my MAF sensor, this is the last thing I need to get my car running
lol ok thanks manMy wife's is extended all the way over to directly behind the passenger headlight
Just make sure you do it right, with soldered connections, shrink wrap to keep water out, etc. And keep those wires away from rotating parts... ask me how I know.![]()
Well we put the smallest spring in there now (yellow) and the car should be making 4psi but it's making 13psi... 370 horse at 4300 rpm is all we've been able to get it up to with 9.5* of timing... I don't know wtf to do nowwhat did the car make
Save yourself the headache and buy a mafia IMO
Don't most s/c kits require an extension of the MAF wiring?
Why are you only able to run it to 4300 RPM? Why are you only running 9.5* of timing?Well we put the smallest spring in there now (yellow) and the car should be making 4psi but it's making 13psi... 370 horse at 4300 rpm is all we've been able to get it up to with 9.5* of timing... Cut the spring down a little and put a manual boost controller on it. If you are still on the stock maf you are probably going to max it out around 425hp. So the mafia would have been a good idea.
