I've never dealt with MMR, but all the forums, especially this one, have had so many horror stories that the mustang community is considering a fine for every time that someone mentions this godforsaken company

You should begin by listing your current modifications (if any) and what your goals are with the car.

torque converter and a good Drag Radial should be top on your list.

I would tend to agree.... then a set of long tubes/ x-pipe, jlt or c&L racer cold air, CMPD's and a set of lower control arms. Remove the front sway bar/ brace and put a rad support in.. save you just over 30 lbs and some weight transfer for $80 or so

it an auto

You stated you had $3K or so to spend initially. So.....

One piece aluminum driveshaft
Gears....4.10 (I don't care what Matt says just put the 4.10's in and be done)
Precision Industries converter
American Racing Headers - 1 5/8" long tubes w/catted x-pipe
Tune

That should eat up $3K.

Young fool....only now at the end do you understand. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side.

Drag radials are a necessity not to be put upon any list.
