Man, I can't believe how much better the car runs. I went with the SPEC stage 3. The car is very streetable. As a matter of fact, I can now tell just how bad the stock one was. But hey, 90 rwhp over stock, 40,000+ miles, and 200+ passes... I can't complain about the stocker too much. LOL

I know I am gonna see some better 60's next time out. R&P, heads, and cams going in by mid April. So stoked!

Yea, I just got picked up by them as sponsors too. Very cool.

Chris and Torey are good guys. I have known them for about 2 years. I usually do all my own work, as a good tech is hard to come by. I have heard a lot of good things about Chris, and have seen years of happy customers go through the shop, so I figure I am in good hands.

Went to the track today. First time out with a new clutch AND new 4.56 gears AND Eaton TruTrac.

I got a new best 60' of 1.790. I missed my best 1/8 ET by .069 and my best 1/4 ET by .064

Ooooh, this post makes me very happy!! UPS man should be bringing my Spec 3+ early this week! I'd love to have 60' under 2.0 finally!

Cool!

I have to tell you, the break-in is a slow process. It will feel choppy/pulse from a stand-still and during 1-2 shifts. The more it breaks in, the less choppy it will be. I put a good 300 miles on mine before I raced with it. I have 1500 miles on it now and the pulsing is almost completely gone. Very streetable.

It sticks like glue. I am doing WOT, 7k RPM clutch dumps at the track. ZERO give. It just hooks and goes... LOL

Damn, all this info is making me all giggly....now to find time to get it done!!!! When I put the Centerforce DFX in, it took me a good 24hours to get the feel of it and not throw Art through my windshield on the test drives, so perhaps the learning curve on this one will be shorter.

The Spec 3+ is pretty awesome! A bit on offish but you should get the hang of it pretty quick.
