I have noticed zero drone with the GT500's even on longer highway trips. Friend commented to me that they thought it would be much louder in the car on the highway, and it wasn't. Conversation was at a normal tone.

Yeah same here. I love it. With the pype bombs with the stock midpipe, while there wasn't really drone, it was definitely louder on the inside and you'd have to talk loudly to passengers. Not anymore. I can just talk like normal.

Got my new exhaust setup all done. I had added the JBA Off Road X-pipe to the car and it sounded good but was VERY loud and really raspy with the Pype Bomb axle backs so I took those out and got some Ford Racing GT500 Style mufflers and I'm really happy with them and highly recommend them. They are pretty cheap at around $310 shipped and are really good quality and I love the sound. The car is A LOT quieter on the inside compared to before (even with the pype bombs and stock mid pipe) and is quieter on the outside too but still sounds good and more refined IMO. It got rid of a lot of the raspiness of the pype bombs which I like and now I'm not nearly as worried about the popo pulling me with no cats. Anyway let me know what you guys think!

and to the guys who hate my videos... just don't watch lol

Here are some photos of the GT500 axle back.

Much improved. Was never a big fan of the Pype's: too loud and too much popping.

Much better IMHO. I am always a fan of being loud as long as it sounds good at the same time. Those bombs and the o/r x didn't mesh well, nice change.

Yeah same here. I love loud, but the o/r x and the pype bombs just were too loud/raspy. Thanks!

The new 5.0 has to have a flaw somewhere. atleast its in the engine tone and not the engine like the 3v lol :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::moon::moon:

I guess you never heard of the shitty transmissions or the number 8 problem. lol! all hail the 3v!

God another car with this combo?

Just thinking the same thing, It seems I have seen this set up on a ton of cars

Lol there's a reason it's so popular.... The roush axle backs with no cats is basically like the pype bombs without cats. Loud and raspy.

Okay but that doesn't make it any less common or better. I like my loud setup, it's not even obnoxious like most think nor is it raspy. Videos of Roush A/B without cats sound nothing like it does in person and I'm guessing you have only heard that setup on YouTube.

Nah just going based off of what people who've run that setup have said. So it's not raspy? I find that kinda hard to believe.. I do believe it may not be that loud though. The pype bombs were surprisingly not that loud unless you get on it.
