Nah just going based off of what people who've run that setup have said. So it's not raspy? I find that kinda hard to believe.. I do believe it may not be that loud though. The pype bombs were surprisingly not that loud unless you get on it.

Were they running stock h-pipe with just cat deletes? If they swapped fthe stock h for x I can see it being raspy but I can assure you there is no rasp in my setup, Roush axleback and cat deletes, with stock headers, h pipe, resonators and OTA pipe.

I have the cat deletes with a Heart throb 3" H pipe to some aero resonators then the gt500's, no rasp there either. It's the mufflers that get rid of the rasp though, not the H pipe. I had some Roush mufflers on there before and they sounded like crap. Stock they were great but once you start to do other stuff not so good.

Theres just too many cars with this setup, like 0 variety in 5.0 exhaust setups lol... Eventually im thinking LTs, Offroad H, JBA axle backs.

There is a reason for that though.....after you try three or four things and don't get a sound you want then people tend to go with they know will work.

I had a unique set up on my last car but I changed it 8 times to get it to sound like what I wanted and had to custom fab some of it. I spent an absurd amount of money on that exhaust which was for the most part a hack job.

It seems to me if you don't want a 5.0 to sound raspy they you need to go with a chambered muffler.

Idk if its just me, but I love the evil raspy growl that my 5.0 has with muffler deletes.

I had 11 different setups on my 3v. Im on my 1st on my 5.0 and fucking love it.

I will give any one of you guys $20 if you ever hear my car in person and don't like it, and say its raspy.

Guess Mikey and I are the unique ones haha. I live my setup.

Yeah the reason I went with this setup is because I didn't want to spend a ton doing trial and error lol. I know a lot of people who've done that and I don't feel like spending hundreds on an exhaust that may not sound good. This setup I knew would sound good, which is why I changed to it, and it's pretty cheap and looks good.
