New vs used spring ?

It is time to finally lower my 2007 Mustang GT...I am wondering if there is any major reason to avoid very lightly used lowering springs?

Also if new is the absolute only way to go, what is the cheapest set I can go with? I see the Tein S springs for $160 but is that too good to be true?

Springs generally last for 100,000 miles or more no reason to avoid buying used. Just make sure there are no cuts of deep gouges in them.

There is a huge advantage to buying used springs aside from the reduced cost... someone else broke them in for you! A hundred miles or less and you are ready for an alignment rather than waiting for the springs to settle a little then getting one!
