Speaking of which.........the short answer on the valve was improper heat treat. Plus, there was something funky going on in the center of the stem. Strange forging.

Ok....let me rephrase that. The forging was a pile of dogshit and not heat treated properly.

wes@tps is doing the tuning they are a new shop as you know but i tell you what man wes has really impressed me hands down

i'll put it to ya this way he almost had me beat hp wise with benji's car i was running 11lbs. he was running 6lbs and if not for the fuel toping out he would have

after the last episode when the motor popped the " other tuner " won't even return my phone calls when beforehand he even went as far as saying he wanted to sponsor me and have my car represent his shop blah blah blah ........oh well

and i get my wrench work done by a friend down here he works at a dealership so we have access to a lift and every tool known to man lol .....it's just alot easier for me than to trailer it up there or make the 3 hour drive every time i need a little something done he's the same fella that built steven's car ( the real race car lol ) it's up at tps right now actually they just repainted it and and in the process of rebuilding the new motor ....... you HAVE to go check this thing out when it's done thing is just stupid lol

Yea, figured Wes would tune it for you. And I know all about the "other" tuner and his MO.
I saw Steven's car over there when I went Monday. Gotta say that thing is sick!! I am waiting on a couple of items to come in so I get get them put on myself. Let me know when you bring your car, I will swing by and check it out. Hell they aint but 1/4 mile from me. My engine doesn't even have a chance to heat up before I have to shut it off lol!
