This past winter, I bought a used Pro 5.0 shifter off of eBay. It's in great shape but I never got around to installing it. Finally got the time last weekend and realized it's missing the two brass alignment bushings. The seller is all like ahh durr :wgaf: I'm like :mad2:

Oddball request in 3...2...1:

Does anyone have a Pro 5.0 shifter laying around that they can measure these bushings for me? I need as many measurements as possible (ID, OD, diameter, thickness, etc) and I'll either try to find something online or my local industrial fastener supplier. Hell, I might see if the machine shop at work can make me some but I desperately need the measurements.

Pro 5.0 doesn't sell the bushings separately and won't respond to any further emails .. WTF....

Since you have a picture, you should be able to infer the measurements. You have the bolt that passes through to give inside dimension and the hole they insert into to give outside. I would even measure a part and then scale the picture until it matched.

Thats some pretty crappy customer service from Pro-5.0. I would see if you can find the info for their headquarters, and try to get ahold of someone higher up in the food chain then the rep you talked to.

Any way to reuse the stock components? Or get the measurements from the stock pieces, although if I remember right it seems like they are plastic.

Boo on Pro5.0 as well. Do they have a forum rep or anything? I considered going with them for my '06 since I had one in my '99, and loved it. There was so little feedback on the newer models that I wasn't comfortable going with them.

Good ideas..
As for the stock stuff, I'd doesn't appear that it'll work.

Thanks man, I would greatly appreciate any help..

So the big bushing is 2cm long total and the smaller lip of that bushing is 6mm long. Making the bigger part of that bushing 14mm

The smaller bushing is 1cm long, with a 6mm lip also, making the outer lip 4mm.

Hope this helps

That does help!! Can I trouble you to measure the inside diameter of the bushing too?

Sorry work bit me in the ass this week. And it slipped my mind. I will measure first thing in the morning for you when I get home. Sorry for the delay
