P0193 and flaky fuel gauge

Check if the passenger side carpet is wet. If so, your cowl drain plugs may be blocked with water sloshing around inside the cowl and seeping through the cabin air filter.

Since you already discovered a water leakage problem after you first bought the car, some of the electrical terminals in the SJB could be contaminated or corroded. I suggest you pull it out for closer inspection.

If you read through the thread you would know I pulled the SJB out, split the case, and blew it out. I also sprayed all connectors with contact cleaner then went over them with alcohol and an acid brush.

Once again, the reason I posted what I did about the SJB is in case someone does a search and this thread comes up. I hate when I find threads that don't have a conclusion.

Fair enough. Then I guess that rules out the SJB as the culprit.
The only thing I can think of that you haven't already done is the stepper motor for the fuel gauge.

It's been fine since I did the SJB. Maybe it was coincidence or it was an issue with the SJB as well. For now I'm calling it fixed.
