You are correct, I just think a 3.31 will be more "user friendly" on the street. Even on slicks when my car is hooking I have to be on top of my game in 1st-3rd because the car wraps out really fast. I prefer a gear that puts me through the traps at redline in 4th gear, but damn.. I'm trying to keep this thing a street car. I always buy cars and they end up with a damn cage and gutted in no time. I can't leave anything alone LOL!!

I know the feeling my 3V is at 650/570 on pump gas and I am still rocking the 4.30's I installed when it was cammed and N/A, evenso I drive it everywhere. Last road trip was about 700 miles roundtrip.

I was having spark blow out issues with my car. I was using ford plugs that came with my Aluminator. Went back to NGK 1 step colder (6510) and problem solved.

That is the plug I run as well. Absolutely no issues once I switched to them.

I changed the plugs last night back to the stock plugs and gapped them to .032 and the miss at WOT is gone. I ran it 4 times last night and once this morning wide open and it pulled like a freight train with no hiccups. I noticed that on the FRPP plugs I had in the car, the strap and electrode were offset significantly from each other. Not sure if that played a role or not but the plugs FRPP sent me were quite a bit shorter than stock as well, much more than they originally appeared to be. Looks like the problem is resolved and I'm going to go throw it back on the dyno and see if it cleared up those dips sometime over the next couple of weeks. Dan @ Pro Dyno was instrumental in helping me resolve this issue one piece at a time, so kudos to him for taking the time to help me figure this out after the initial transaction.

Eric@JPC, you have a pm coming your way. Can't thank you enough for your insight. I'm still interested in what we talked about so we can work that out later.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into getting a set.

The one heat range colder is def a good idea on the s/c application, and then gapped down,

we run ours around .29, but thats at 16-20 psi depending on the pulley / air
