lol, i am i am just worried about the input shaft and axles holding up. i think with 5.0 and 2.8 pulley which is 15 psi, i will be in the 580 rwhp range....maybe a bit more.

Liberty or Promotion. Yes & yes. When I did my build I was looking at this & decided it was not worth putting that kind of $ into a 3650. Unless you know how to tear a transmission apart, it is not a DIY. I was leaning towards a TR6060 when a great deal came up on a 4R70W that I couldn't pass up & haven't looked back.

I am pretty sure they do not adverise these shafts on their website & before they would only sell a shaft when getting one in exchange. I don't know whether things have changed since I looked a couple of years ago.

IIRC you sent in the 10-spline shaft and they cut the shaft and weld on a 26 spline piece (talking about Liberty)? Yes you will also need a new clutch. Just have the stock flywheel resurfaced and save some $.

just a new clutch, but most will say to buy a new flywheel too. I'd just have the stock one resurfaced, unless you want to go aluminum for flywheel (stock is steel). You can buy a clutch that is 26 spline to work with the tranny and there shouldn't be any tuning unless you are going from auto to manual and I don't think you are...

Yes, and I'd invest in a new one piece driveshaft. There's a lot of kits out there that include everything needed to make the swap.

How many times do you have to ask the same question and get the same answer?

YES, the GT500 transmission is a 26 spline which also obviously requires a 26 spline clutch. The flywheel doesn't give a shit what spline the clutch is.

Here are your options:

-Run an actual production GT500 clutch which is a dual disc clutch/flywheel assembly.
-Use your stock flywheel (resurfaced) and pressure plate and use a 26 spline clutch disc (Centerforce, or FRPP sells these separate).
-Run your stock flywheel with an aftermarket clutch assembly with a 26 spline disc.
-Buy a new flywheel of your choice, and a clutch of your choice with a 26 spline disc.

That should answer your question regarding 26 spline anything.

Yes. Buy a whole new clutch assembly.
