Simple question, it's time to change the plugs, car sounds like ass
Do I go one step colder?
Considering E3's, opinions? I've heard different tales from either side, some say go with stock plugs, some say go with a new brand, some stay stock temp range, some go one step colder.
Facts, and opinions please! I know very little when it comes to the ignition system compared to the rest of the engine.

colder HT0's it is then
I'll hopefully be swapping them this afternoon, we'll see how it goes, I'll see if my buddy has a gaping tool
EDIT: As for not going one step colder before: Originally my tuner said stock plugs were fine, I backed it up myself looking around on the net and saw alot of people running stock plugs with no problems on the same setup, car worked fine but it's obvious it's time to be changed.

Quick question now that I've tried looking around town
Anyone know of any auto parts chains that carry plugs in different heat ranges, so far the main ones have been either out of plugs completely, or don't carry anything beyond stock heat ranges.

We carry both the Brisk plugs and the Autolite's

Was kinda meaning something I could drive to and pick up. Florida's alittle far out from DFW. Thanks though.

We do shipping and even shipped it usually less than picked up, but any local performance shop should have em.

I'll look around, but if I end up ordering I'll hit you up, trying to get this done this week so we'll see what happens.

Ok so interesting facts:
1) pulled plugs turns out I've been running ht0s
2) swapped to ht1s which I was told were 1 heat range colder
car now misfires in any boost but runs and sounds fine out of boost were thinking some or all aren't torqued down
ideas?

HT1's are one range hotter not colder.

Edit: hotter than the HT0, they are the stock heat range as stkjock posted below.

Autolite introduces the Revolution HT1 spark plugs for bolt-on naturally aspirated Mustang GT's from 2005-2008! Specifically designed as a stock replacement and stock heat range plug, these plugs are perfect for the addition of bolt-on parts such as Cold Air Intake, Headers, Pulleys, Charge Motion Plates, etc. Also a stock heat range plug for 2004 F150 5.4L. These plugs are 10mm in thread design and designed as an aftermarket OE replacement product. Factory gap is at .045" (Mustang). If you have any questions whatsoever, please feel free to contact us for exact specifications.

These Autolite Revolution HT spark plugs are designed to provide more space for additional intake valve and unobstructed intake ports. They will enhance power and create more efficient airflow without increasing the engine's size. The Revolution HT spark plugs from Autolite feature a 10mm high-thread design that can maintain the same dielectric, mechanical, and durability characteristics associated with conventional 14mm spark plugs. When doing a tuneup on your engine, use these Autolite Revolution HT spark plugs to get the job done.
