I had a PB at london as well. Nothing special. Car is stock besides a shifter and axle backs. This was on my 20" street tires. Next up is drag setup.

New PB today at Atco raceway track rental. Track prep was for shit. Couldn't hook nearly as well as I did at the e-town rental. However Atco is the quicker track and I went 12.06 spinning tires. Spinning tires with the front wheels off the ground. I can't figure that one out! I have some go pro vids I'll have to figure out how to post. Part of the traction problem is tha the clutches in my stock posi are shot and I keep single legging on my burnout. Gotta fix that before the next trip to the track!

After the last few weeks, I don't feel I have moved up the list at all! I guess its just the new bar this year. Damn 5.0s...

Y'all are going to make me hit the spray on my little 3v street car, aren't you?

That might be because I haven't updated it in 6 months. Well no excuses this time as I have no plans this weekend, so I will get to it Sun morning. :boobies:

it takes a special technique, mine will do the same thing if i don't do it a certain way.

1. roll the tires over one complete rotation in the water

2. only come out of the water 6 inches or so

3. Second gear fast dump from about 6k rpms left foot over to brake

4. keep RPMs above 6k, if they fall down, it will one wheel. . . 3.73 guys may need to keep it closer to 6500 rpms or higher.

works every time with my shitty diff

Thanks Mike. I did do a little more spin through the water and I found that helped in getting the burnout started with two wheels. I have line lock so no need for foot on brake and yes I'm doing my burnout in second gear with 3.73's I also found that the higher the rpm I dump the clutch the better. However, even after doing all of the above and keeping the rpm's up it will single leg after the tires begin to get sticky. That's an aweful noise when that starts! Then I just release the line lock and let off the throttle slowly and let it roll towards the start line. I spent all morning trying to get my go pro vids edited so I can post them but alas, I failed. I was able to watch them and the front wheels weren't lifting nearly as high as they did at Englishtown. Wish I did some vid there!

Yep, if you get them going, all you can do is keep the rpms up as high as you can till you're done. . . if it one legs at high rpm, you may be right about the diff just being way past done
