I was looking at picking up a set of Enkei NT03-M's in 18x9.5". Tirerack says that the Enkei 9.5" wheels only fit the rear of the S197 Mustang GT and not the front. I'm not sure if that's correct. The Shelby 18x9" wheels fit on all 4 corners with room to spare I've been told by other S197 owners. What specs are needed for 9.5" or 10" wide 18" diameter wheels on all 4 corners?

The specs for the 18x8.5" wheels are:
Diameter: 18"
Width 8.5"
Offset: 38mm
Backspacing: 6.18"

The specs for the 18x9.5" wheels are:
Diameter: 18"
Width 9.5"
Offset: 40mm
Backspacing: 6.81"

When I looked at the Shelby 18x9" wheels their specs are:
Diameter: 18"
Width 9.0"
Offset: 40mm
Backspacing: 6.61"

OEM GT500 wheels are 18x9.5" front and rear, 45mm offset. They fit perfectly on my lowered GT with 255/45s in the front. I don't see any reason why the 40mm 18x9.5 wouldn't work on the front and rear....they would just sit out 5mm (0.2 inch) toward the outside of the car that the OEM GT500s.

These are the enkei wheels I bought from tirerack. I see they specs are different now..........

I would just call them up. They were very helpful with me when I called them on the phone. They customer service is top notch IMO. I had my wheels/tires fedx to Maui three days after I placed the order for less than $300.

Your wheel choice is a nice one. Quite light but pricey.

+1, also 295/45's will go on the back without sticking out at all
