Gonna get one soon, but is one better then the other? Not looking to make crazy hp #'s so either would work well. Do tuners prefer one over the other? I know the Mafia is cheaper so if its just as good and reliable as the ba-5000 I'll probably go with it.

What kinda power you looking to make? Yes the mafia is cheaper and reliable, havent heard of any issues with the mafia.

I ran the MAFia, no issues here.

I used a MAFia at 500+ rwhp for a year or so, with no issues, but eventually it failed. I'm upgrading to a BA-5000 soon, since like SD said, a MAFia is just a band-aid.

MAFia is like a boost a pump to me. Just a temp fix (bandage) to a problem and just something else that can fail

Mafia no issues. But I would ask your tuner though. I know Procharger cars tune easier with Diablo then SCT.

I'm running the HPX (aka BA5000 meter) and it works flawlessly for me. Either way will work really.
