Yup, blew the stocker up sat night beating down a paxon charged vette c6. Dam tow truck charged me 85 bucks to tow me 5.9 miles lol. Anyway, Im pretty sure it was becuase I changed the tranny, and the gears are so much longer on the 6060 that the motor had way to much load on it. Or it was a stawk motor and 521 was just to much and eventually let go LOL. which ever the real reason be, that motor will be missed.

That sucks, but we all know its a matter of time with a stock bottom end and 521rwhp. Good thing is, if there is any, are the prices on the 4.6 seem to be falling due to the reintroduction of the 5.0.

Get AAA. About $70 a year and 100 miles free towing. Its actually one of the first things I bought when I added the SC.

I actually had a motor built for the car a few months ago, and its been sitting in the corner. Ive got all I need except I havent gotten the heads back. Im thinking of porting the saleen blower while its apart. I really dont know how many rods I threw. I towed it home and havent looked at the car since, lol been busy. Ill prob to the car to the shp nexct week and start tearing it down. Im really not in a hurry TBH.

Im actually positive it was the gearing change with tranny's. I was at the track messing around runnin low 11's on the 18 MPh'ing 126 like nothing. But I had the 3650 in it.

This will sound weird, but Im glad it was the motor and not the tranny. LOL

I had to read your original post again because I thought you said 'stroker' and you were joking about blowing it. Well, at least you have a backup plan.

It's about time you drop a built motor in your car, too bad it was under these circumstances.

keep in mind, at least in NY and NJ, the 100 free towing miles is after youve been a member for 2.5 years. I just upgraded to that free 100 mile towing haha
