Ok so as many of you know I have had some issues with my build on many levels. I have taken a break from deer season and jerky factory that has been my kitchen lol..

The latest issue was that my car was not going into gear while it was running...

Stock clutch, new slave and spec 2 billet steel flywheel (8bolt)....

So here is a video of the slave moving and engaging the fingers on the pressure plate... does it look like it is moving far enough?

I have called spec and they said the stock clutch will work with that flywheel without any issues... the reason for stock clutch was just to break in the motor, gears and just crusie around for the rest of the season....

Since the season is over and winter is pretty much here
I went ahead and dropped the tranny, pulled the clutch and flywheel... Im going to order a spec stage 3 clutch since they are like 360 bucks on their website and rock it for awhile.

soo techies what are your thoughts??

How are you taking that video? Through that tiny inspection hole? Any rate the slave doesn't look to be compressed enough before stepping on the clutch. It doesn't seem to have much movement once you press the clutch either. How did you bleed the clutch?

Yeah through the hole...The light on my phone and camera are very close together... worked beautifully...bench bled, mighty vacd, front corner jacked up in the air, pumped the peddle a million times lol... I tried everything once I knew I had an issue...

PP fingers are pushed flush, looks perfect. You don't want over-throw or the fingers will ride on the outside edge of the slave bearing, not to mention the PP only lifts so far and after that you're just bending the fingers.

FWIW also, I had stock fly, stock slave, and a centerforce DF clutch/PP. I had a hard time getting in 1st/reverse from a stop. Shifting was an effort as well, missed a lot of gears. Replaced everything. '13 GT500 master cylinder, jpc line, stock slave, exedy mach 400 pp/clutch, spec billet aluminum flywheel. Flawless and effortless now. Engagement point is also near the top of the pedal, before it was about half way. I get wood when shifting at 6700 now... is so nice.. so very nice.
