Finaly got to Bowling Green, to run the 1/4 before I leave for Afgahnistan next month. My goal was to have a ten secoond car before I left, well I got close but didnt quite make it.
First pass, the intercooler pipe pops off about 100 feet before the line and I run a 11.41 at 101, coasting thru. Second pass everythings good and I go 11.113 @ 119. Third pass I bump up the 2-step by 100 rpm and run 11.114 @ 118.
I quess I have 12 months to figure out my next step (trans-brake, C&L intake, maybe a little spray).
I'll post up the vids when I get the disk from a friend.

Damn close. What did your 60fts look like. I'm looking at a two step over the winter, how do you like it? How much boost you running?

nice, 12 months should give you plenty of time to work out some details. maybe skip the spray and go for some meth injection

Sorry, I dont have a scanner, but here are the numbers

2nd 3rd
60ft 1.574 1.538
330 4.511 4.482
1/8 7.029 7.007
@97.7 @97.3
1000 9.227 9.217
1/4 11.113 11.114
@119.2 @118.4

I dont know what happened the last 320 feet on the third run, quicker all the way thru till the end. Everything seemed fine. We did have a pretty good headwind with the occasional strong gust. Temps were in the mid to upper 50s.
Rygen, 14lbs, and I love the two step, so much easier to stage and build a little boost since I dont have a trans-brake.

its almost like your running outta top end because i ran an 11.79 @118 seems like your mph should be higher what's your gear/tire combo ? and i agree with psycho id go with the meth over the spray talk with ( forensicsteve ) on here he's running a powerhouse @ 22 w/ 4r70w yaada yada and the meth picked him up .4 in the quarter possibly more ( car would pull timing due to the rpm torque limiter being on and it would rev to fast but fixed the tune the next day ) ..... but what do i know im a noob lol

powerhouse ftw lol

I put 3.73 gears in it before going to auto trans, 3000 stall, 28" M&H radials. I need the tall tire to get thru the 1/4 in third, I needed the overdrive and lock-up for everyday driving. I wish I'd done a couple of things differently now, but I'm still pretty happy with the car.

3.73 with a 28" tall tire is good for 123 mph @ 5500 rpm, 134 mph @ 6000 rpm, and 145 mph @ 6500 rpm.
With a 7.0 1/8th my car would definitely be in the 10's and with your turbo to my twinscrew you should be way ahead of me on the big end.

thats what im saying he should be well ahead up top with that turbo , did you ever datalog a run ? maybe something needs to be tweaked in the tune or its pulling timing up top but your 60' and 1/8 look good but the big end just looks like it falls off i dunno

He has 1/10th on me at the 60' and 2/10ths on me at the 1/8th.
He should have 3/10ths on me at the very least at the 1/4.

I agree, it should be quicker on the back half than it is. At least by the factory tach, I was right at 6000 in third, like I said I cant use overdrive. A/F stayed the same throughout the run. I'd love to data log but I dont have access to a computer that doesnt have Windows Vista. I do plan to take the car to Mike @ Powerhouse at mid-tour or at the end of my rotation.

Thanks for the feed back on the two step. Are you running a manual valve body or electronic valve body on your 4r70? Also, I found a post on SCT on how to make their software work with Vista. I haven't tried yet, but plan to next weekend.

UPDATE: Version 4.30 is supposed to work with Vista. Here is the link. http://www.sctflash.com/tsaddons.php?type=DL

When are you shifting, I'm wondering if you are shifting too late and not getting to 3rd soon enough? As for SCT on Vista, I just tested it, you have to right click on the EXE, and enabled Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode. I was able to read all the pid's off the car. PM me if you have any issues with it.

I'll give it a try tomorrow, one good thing about the Army is the four day weekends we get for many of the national holidays.

I was shifting at 6000rpm.
