Never enough power guy!
Seems like even if the stock housings where ported and the screens removed that the screens in the solenoids would still clog up.^^ or make an oil control housing with ported passages and no filter screens.

Then what stops the silinoids from going out from the debris ?Not if you cut them out.![]()

I think that is the reason the screens are there in the first place though , the solenoids are very sensitive to ANY debris . There is always some in any engine , that is why we need filters. The screens seem like they would only stop debris larger then the filter would catch though but, it is possible for these debris that are causing issues after the filter though or the filter would catch everything and there wouldn't be any issues with the debris at all.Well this is all just theory and of course I'm not going to try it, but seems like as much oil pressure that is going through there the debris would simply pass through. I mean there shouldn't be any debris in there in the first place since it has to pass through the oil filter first. I didn't find 1 spec of debris in my housing when i tore it apart.

Well the problem ultimately is coming down to the valve lashers getting starved of oil right? Hence the ticking and failures....What if we switched to SOLID lash adjusters and retained the FACTORY followers? Would this work? We would eliminate the lash failure and increase horsepower and also get rid of the tick.???

she is fixed. been running fine ever since the new followers went in
I just soaked them in oil for a little bit., then put them in. I have switch back to 5w-20 oil as well.
well since its fixed when you gonna bring the car to the track?
