I know they have a kit. But you still can't just order and get it like can the jpc and a paxton. Not yet anyway.

The install was a PITA but the final straw for me was my track day, I could not get better than a 1.8 60 ft no matter what I tried/did.

Where the TT has the advantage though....drove it 3 hours to the track avg 31 mpg, beat on it for 12-14 runs, drove it back home avg 30/31 mpg.

I know a guy here that has a Boss with D1 Procharger. He's regularly 10.5's 131; don't know his 60', but I'll bet he's 1.6'??? Spooling time? That's one of the reasons I'm considering PD, if I can get it to hook up??

Making boost sitting at the line was impossible for me; I tried foot braking it to build boost and that did not work...:(....PD's are great off the line but that 500lb/tq is a lot of stress on the drivetrain and for the most part you get a hero run and then have to wait at least half an hour to reduce IAT's due to heat soak...or invest in a larger IC reservoir....or invest in larger HE's with fans...which is why I am a fan of the centri's over PD's/turbo's.

And that same train of thought transfers over to the street as well.

if you can't hook on the track, def can't hook on the street. Even running 8.7's, I could put the car together on the street to hook

Can't remember if I mentioned this, but UPR's 2010 GT with Roush TVS2300 went a 1.35 60-foot time on DRs and UPR's Street suspension. That's VIOLENT. PD blowers definitely have the throttle response.

Then again, my man Mitchell Pope ran 10.0 in the quarter in his MT-82 2013 GT with a stock motor, stock trans, stock rear end, and a ProCharger. It's pretty much "pick your poison".

1.35 is really crazy. I was out today shifting 1-2 2-3 @7600, just imagining how much quicker I could get there with a TVS, etc…….

Thanks for input….

My tuner (Shaun/AED) is really partial to the PD's. I really like his work on my car and that also will factor in the equation. Right now is the fun part of doing the research and getting input from those who have the experience of boosted 5.0's, etc..

ps. I really like your Youtube channel. That LX is a beast.

pps. that demo ride in the '10 GT UPR to Dunkin Donuts may have swung me over to the Roush!!

Yep, ryne at cunningham motorsports had a 1000+hp tt 5.0 and he swears up and down that a roush with a jlt and 82mm is the perfect setup on a stock 5.0(not a boss but still) and that if he were to do it again he would go pd. Both my tuners Shaun and Ryne favor pd's for some reason, best way is to ride in a centri and pd car to see what you like best!

The TVS is where its at, great setup. We're potentially picking up Paxton and Vortech, I need to put my personal opinion aside, I'm not a big fan of them but some swear by the kits.
