T56 Magnum

So I found this on flebay. I'm pretty sure it would bolt to our engines no problem, so then all you would need to get is a shifter, drive shaft and cross member to make it work. I'm thinking a TR6060 would be cheaper but I do like that .50 6th gear.

Dude, if you want a T-56 let me know. Auto06 has one sitting in his garage that he pulled out of his 96 Slobra a couple of years ago. I can probably hook you up and maybe even get you a descent deal.

I emailed that guy on ebay Zman, and ask if they have any kits for the 05+ mustangs. I'll let you know what I hear. I don't care if I put a T-56 or TR6060, all I care is that it will stand up to high hp in the future.

+1 i aint got but 3.90 gears anyway so it's not like im spinning high rpm's while cruzin anyway

I've got a Viper Spec T56 kit that will bolt right into your car. Came from D&D. I'm trying to get rid of it for $2500. Comes with everything you need except 26spline clutch. Cross-member, driveshaft, shifter and trans. Had it up on Ebay but no takers.

But he says he does have a spare T-45 (or whatever the hell came in a 96 Slobra from the factory)

If anyone was interested in this I did finally get a response.

No directly, but with the use of a shifter relocator used on a GM car you can make it work. We can explain on the phone.

I got a response from them also and I posted a thread in the tech area. If we can get enough intrest in this being a bolt in kit, then I will take my car to them and let them use it for a couple weeks to design the kit. This can only happen if we have people wanting to buy this as a bolt in kit though.

It would be cool, but I already got a deal on a Viper spec D&D one so I'm out.
