For those of you have swapped your electronics to a new TB, did u test and adjust the TPS voltage? I have read conflicting write ups as to do this.

TIA

When I swapped my tps from my stock throttle body to my edelbrock throttle body I didn't do any testing. Just worked.

Anyone else?

Back from a party, too many cold ones, ughhhh

Any reason that the electronics cannot be swapped on without removing the TB itself? Seems like all the write ups are for a swap of the TB, in my case I am leaving the TB as is, just the motor and housing are being replaced.

i've swapped several electronics on a few different throttle bodies. bbk 62mm and gt500 and stockers. i have never had to adjust anything. i've just made sure not to twist the t/b and make sure the spring was properly set. i've ran all those throttle bodies without a single hiccup. i think people having issues with throttle bodies have simply messed up their tps by not being careful enough.

factory TB's shouldn't need adjustment. Only the older BBK TB's needed adjustment. FRPP's shouldn't either. I guess you just got lucky Barricade haha

Stock GT tb to a Kenne Bell 130mm TB, straight swap-over with no adjusting. Just getting the clock-spring right was all that was needed.
