Got mine yesterday---Peter sent out 2nd day air---

You know, the pictures really don't do this thing justice---this tensioner is one stout piece. I don't see how anyone could bend this thing. I lost a regular steel idler pulley so I am replacing them with billet pulleys to go along with this quality piece.

How much for the tensioner? Where can I buy one?
The tensioner is $350.00 + shipping.
You have 2 shipping choices:
$20 for standard ground shipping fully insured anywhere in the continental USA.
$30 for 2nd business day fully insured anywhere in the continental USA.
If you would like one just PM me your paypal address and I'll send you an invoice.

2002 GT KB 2.6 Do I have a tensioner option

I have a 2002 GT with a 2.6 and 3 bolt tensioner (99 cobra front cover).

I have already tried the RR tensioner . Bolt pattern does not match.

I need something. I have a bent tensioner. Will this work for my situation..

THanks

I'm surprised that the bolt pattern of the RR tensioner doesn't match since I have one here and I was using it on mine till I bent it.
Yes there was an adapter plate for the 05+ to reclock it but I bolt my tensioner directly onto terminators which the RR was designed for.

That being said I have sold several of my tensioners to people running the 96-99 front cover.

If you would like to purchase one they are $350 + $20 regular ground shipping fully insured anywhere in the continental USA or $30 2nd business day fully insured anywhere in the continental USA
All you need to do is PM me your paypal address and I'll send you an invoice.

I'm having some difficulties with my picture hosting but here is one.

With my Kenne Bell and 8 rib kit the black screw on the tensioner is only 3/8" away from the stop, we will be tuning it next week and wondering if that is right. I will be adding a 100mm idler and 2-90mm, 1 on the front cover the other on the tensioner to try and take up some belt slack

Peter,
Just wanted to let you know the tensioner is still holding up great! Ran a 10.72@124 this past weekend...1.48 60'. Whipple HO 12 psi.
Thank you for a great product!

Metco was asking my buddy who made the tensioner, but he couldn't recall "Thumperrr" and didn't know your name.

Been putting it to the test for sure!

You should be in good shape once the larger idlers are in place. Those are what I used to give me a bit more clearance.

Glad to see you like it David.
That's one helluva nice run.
Is that on an auto?

No...it's a stick car with a Centerforce DFX clutch, stock flywheel. Sunday, I ran a 10.92@125 with a bit warmer weather.
