So I've decided I will be going to island on 9/17. Saturday for test and tune. As long as the weather holds out. I plan on getting there around noon.

Damn.... Now Im wondering if ill be able to run next sat..... Island closed this weekend for flooding and all the events are postponed for next weekend.... Think I should call tomm and find out if Ill be able to run....

well id expect it to be busy, seeing the cooler weather is upon us. the liens through the gates are long when that happens, tech even longer. id say 1030-11

however looks like postponed events are taking place

Saturday- 51st Anniversary Race and King of the Track will be postponed, yet again, until next Saturday, Sept 17th...

Sunday- Ol' Daze Drags will be postponed until Sunday, Sept 18th


not sure if there will be a regular test n tune, gotta call

They open at 5 but Id get there around 6:00 cool down then run.... If the weather holds, by 7 till 10 the temps should be in the low 50's at island.... Prob is it might be busy so it might be a 3-4 run night only...

Well I got a truck now so I could trailer the stang. & I haven't raced all season man... I need to get out there lol.

if i recall correctly i used to leave at 3 from my house to get there by opening, and its only supposed to be a 1 hour drive
