Have you thought about some old school cragar SS's or torq thrust's? Those would look tough on your ride, and you wouldn't break the bank on them either.

lol.... dude I know. My friends give me soooo much shit over them. I'm trying to decide what to put on.

I agree with the statement of bullitts, cragars, or torq-thrust. Done a lot, but for good reason.

Or you could always put Forgestars on it.

I finally had time to give the car a proper washing. It took about 6 hours- wash, clay bar, wash, polish to remove swirls, wash, sealant, wax. I also detailed the engine bay. I was amazed at how much crap the clay bar removed from the paint. The bar started as a light grey, but ended up brown.

The paint looks great. Did you do the polish by hand or use a buffer?

Were the amber taillights a special option or were they only on a few cars (early production/late production)?

Doin' a bit of GaGooglin', it was something put on 99 and 01 Cobra's, and the production numbers were low enough to make them a rare find. One of the sites I was reading said they saw them on sale for $500+ (this was about 6 years ago).

Japanese exports had them as well, and those are about $600+ on Ebay.

I have done so many photoshops with different wheels... lol. I need something that looks good but is a little different that what everyone else puts on there classic mustang you know.

A few of my photoshops.

Just for kicks the wheels off my red car but scaled way down since there is no way 20's would fit under that old girl.

I even tried Shelby razors on it. They did not come out that good. lol

At one point I did have some fake Cobra Rs on there but they didn't fit the front end. So I sold them. They rubbed on everything under the front.

and really my first idea which I still like the best is take my old stock wheels off the 05 and just use them.
