Yup. The $2.50 "stubby mod" :D

Cut the antenna short and put a black rubber cap on it. Bought a small package of caps at the local Advance Auto for $2.50. Have a few spares in case this one dries up and cracks.

Radio reception's still good.

^ did the same thing when I had my Focus SVT. Reception suffered a little, but the aesthetics of it was worth it.

That ^^^ red car makes me think of one word: busy.
If it was mine I'd remove and throw away a few of the things on there, mainly the chrome stuff.
And for God's sakes, that car's begging for some bigger wheels

Yea he could use some bigger wheels but the best thing about the car is the owner he's in his 70s and just loves the car to death and is a great guy. Nice to see someone at that age having fun and going to all kinds of events with it :)
