The RTR panel looks great, once you remove the gaudy RTR from it. Solid panel, color matched running pony decal on there.....wait, yeah, like Gabe did. So much win.

I don't like louvers, but I like what you have on there. As much as the SHR louvers look good from 5 ft away, I'm not a fan of how they look up close since the painter has to mask off the see through window.

If you pay the extra and have them painted from SHR they are usually perfect or they will replace them. You can also buy blend from them at discounted prices. I think mine look good up close.

Those look good. They are IMO the ONLY louvers that look good. I am just afraid to have my car torn apart for the install. How bad is it?

Hey I need some help. I tried getting opinions from people on the FB group, but I realized that I don't trust their opinions. The picture whoring thread on the actual forum is the only place with trustworthy opinions. These aren't new pics, but should I do SHR flush mount louvers? Or nah?

IMO they would look better than what you have on there... as I prefer the smoother line look of a car. I thought long and hard on the SHR's, but I actually came to the conclusion that I like the window in there better. Depends on the look you are going for. I think the kind you have on there go really well with the C/S side scoops, and those actually look better than most of the ones I have seen. However, if you are looking for smoother subtler lines, and still want a louver, get the SHR's for sure.

Do the SHR, it's subtle, unique because most people don't want to fool with a job like that, and it gets the most comments in public. Good enough for the Cobra Jet. Silverhorse'a paint match is amazing. I had them on my 2005 and now just had a new set put on my 2013. Mineral gray was a little off but I didn't notice really until a body guy pointed it out. But I think my DIB is spot on.

I installed in an afternoon. I did put a 1/4" spacer behind mine to make them more flush.

EDIT: I wouldn't recommend the spacers unless you are experienced in window a installations and the use of windshield sealants.
IMO the SHR Louvers are the highest quality and best looking for the s197 on the market.
Also SHR supplies very good instructions.

Absolutely! Best looking and frankly the only louvers that belong on these cars. Not a big fan of the stick on stuff. Plus, you will regain some blind spot visibility.

The install is not bad at all if you order the tools/materials from SHR. Took me all of 2 hours or so taking my time in the garage.

Literally just installed and no time to detail. The car is in much need for some detailing TLC. Probably caused by me wiping them down after the rain we just had.

I have the stick on louvers, and now, thanks to you guys, I has a sad.

Chris, I normally would agree to get the SHR louvers (I actually am going to swap my stick on louvers for SHR louvers one of these days), but for some reason, I'm feeling the ones you have on there now. You need to save that $350 and out it towards a blower or air ride.

You guys are the best. Bad281, those pictures made up my mind. I love yours with no tint. I don't know why, but I have become a huge fan of these cars without tint.. especially ones that have something special about the interior like those corbeau's.

I may actually like it with the clear window and no louver. I'll determine when I pull it in the sun tomorrow, but I'll prob go SHR.

Chip, I will be keeping these Cervini's louvers for a while in case I change my mind! I needed to take them off to clean the water spots underneath anyway... and the SHR's will be a Christmas present.. I'm still saving for air

Also thank you Mach2burnout and Cam for bringing up the paint "lip"... now I know to do the pre-painted setup for sure. I was going to just do the unpainted since I'm getting the front bumper, mirrors, window trim painted in the spring, but nah I'll do pre-painted

but yours don't stick out as much as mine did. Yours are the same size as the window, and they don't have that lip all the way around them.
